CNET 8-10: Yahoo Blocked in China? (and other stuff)


Here are a few more of my recent posts over on CNET Asia. The one that I’m sure will be of interest to most (assuming that this is not a technical mishap) is the sudden inaccessibility of Yahoo from within China:

There’s an unusual twist in this story though. Drop on over to the Little Red Blog to read all about that. Lets hope everything is back to normal in the morning.

Update:

It seems Yahoo was indeed fine shortly after, and things appear to be back to normal now. It seems that this may have been even been a problem with Yahoo instead of the Chinese net nanny, as Vietnam experienced Yahoo problems too.
