For anyone living in China, Skype can be a pretty sweet deal.
I use skype-out to call home, and it’s pretty cheap. I used to use IP cards for long distance cards, but this is far better. Ideally, if you can convince your family to use a skype account on the other end – then of course your calls are free.

Interesting development in Olympic news these days. Word on the street is that Chinese diving star, Guo Jingjing is pregnant:
***Update: Turns out it’s just a rumor****
China Sports Today: During recent routine physical examinations of China’s national swimming and diving team, Guo Jingjing was discovered to be pregnant. After consecutive nights of emergency meetings by relevant officials it was decided that the individual is most important and the athlete’s personal choice would be respected; it was agreed that Guo Jingjing would leave the team.
It will be interesting to see if there’s any backlash from this, as there are no shortage of Guo Jingjing haters out there already. Looks like someone has already found the time to whip up an oil painting of her with a bun in the proverbial oven:
source : Caption reads: ??????!???? or “Guo Jingjing is pregnant! Who dunnit?
She’s not going to be leaving no small splash diving in like that! (kidding… Congrats Diver lady.)
Personally, I’ve always been a huge fan of her eyebrows.
Seriously. Nice eyebrows…
I’ve been toying with Seesmic for a few months now. Very surprised to see Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Harrison Ford, and more of the Indiana Jones 4Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull cast making an appearance on there today (from Cannes, I believe).
I thought I’d yank some of the videos from the public timeline, and stick ‘em here in case anyone wants to see (Kieswetter, that means you…)
Enjoy!
(Note: Lucas’ video not up yet, but I’ll post it if I can catch it.)

I noticed that in Beijing they're celebrating by having a Guinness price war, with several bars cutting the 60 Yuan plus drink to 30 Yuan. That's about wholesale price when accounting for a little wastage. What's happening in Dalian? […]
